Student Notices - May 29, 2024

We would like to begin by acknowledging and thanking the First Peoples of the Hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language groups on whose traditional and unceded territories we teach, learn and live.

Hey Cambie, it's still May and Mental health awareness month isn't over yet....now it's time to put into practice some of what we've been learning.  Even though our Move in May is over its important to keep moving for the rest of May and beyond by making it a personal goal to do some kind of physical activity every day.  It doesn't have to be a huge work out just walking to school or to the store is a good way to start.  Taking care of yourself is also a way to continue improving your mental health. Something as simple as staying hydrated and eating healthy food can help you be kind to yourself and provide you with the fuel you need to get through learning and your day!

Hey Cambie, Ecosavers have the Bike To School Week event next week. Tomorrow, you can bring your bike and come by the library during PLT to get your bike tune up or repair for the event.

Attention all students, if you missed coming to the awards night last week, please come to the office to pick up your award certificate during recess, lunch break or after school.

Attention all grade 11s: Are you interested in helping to make your grade 12 year as amazing as possible? If so, you should consider being a Grad Council executive next year! Please see Mr. Hamm, scan the QR code given to your C block teacher, or check the grad council Instagram page for more information. Applications are due Sunday, June 2nd.
