- Cross Curricular Learning: Students working on projects that integrate more than one curricular area
- Communicating student learning through digital portfolios
- More intentional integration of core competencies across all disciplines, including e-portfolio reflections.
- Student - Teacher conferencing & goal setting
- Increased focus on providing students with formative feedback on learning
- Increased focus on going deeper with learning rather than focusing on covering more content
- Creation of the Cambie Guiding Principles
- Implementation of 60 minutes per week of Personal Learning Time
Increasing students' ownership, motivation and personal accountability for their learning:
- Formulation of a staff accountability committee
- Targeted Student Learning Plan follow-ups after Interim Reports & Report Cards
