The Provincial Graduation Assessments originally scheduled for November 5, 2025, have been cancelled by the Ministry of Education (update as of October 24, 2025). Due to BC General Employees' Union (BCGEU) strike action in the BC Public Service, the Graduation Assessment Session for November 3-7, 2025 will be cancelled for all grade 10 and 12 assessments.

Cambie will reschedule the Grade 10 and Grade 12 Literacy Assessments to the next session in January 2026. The Ministry has extended the January assessment window, which will now run from January 12–30, 2026, to provide schools with additional time to administer student assessments.

The Ministry has also confirmed that the cancellation of the November session will not affect early admission to post-secondary institutions in British Columbia as students are able to write the assessments in another session (January, April, or June) and submit their results when completed.

Please stay tuned for more information regarding the exact date of your GLA 10 and GLA 12 assessments, which will be scheduled sometime between January 12–30, 2026.
