Student Notices - June 20, 2024

We would like to begin by acknowledging and thanking the First Peoples of the Hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language groups on whose traditional and unceded territories we teach, learn and live.

 

AB I C U R Dressed up for up for Alphabet Day. If you are dressed up, send a photo to @cambiestuco on instagram with your name and what you are dressed up as! Tomorrow is H.J. Cambie Day! Wear school colours Black, Grey, and Purple OR school merch and come check out Student Council’s H.J. Cambie Day performances and activities.

 

There will be a final locker clean-up TODAY immediately after recess, before Block B. Students are to go directly to your homeroom after recess to clean up and clear out your lockers. Homeroom lists are posted outside the office if you are unsure where to go.

 

Any grade 8's who have not yet completed or handed in their Time Capsules, please see Mr. Meier.

 

Attention grads: if you are missing a graduation cap from Valedictory, they can be picked up from the office. Please pick it up as soon as possible, by the end of this week.

 

Hello Cambie, yearbook distribution will be today during lunch time and after school! If you have pre-purchased a yearbook, please pick up your yearbook in Mr.Liu's room A115. If you would like to purchase a yearbook, please visit Ms. Ng in the office, quantities are very limited.

 

Hello Current G10 and G11 Students, the visit from representatives of Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) to Cambie has been postponed until after we return from summer break. Please look out for the announcement.

 

Hey Cambie, please check the lost and found items in the Rotunda, make sure you collect them before the summer break.

 

Attention all coyotes. Today at lunch there will be a basketball event hosted by Rec students. Come support your friends at this action packed and nail biting event.

 

Here’s an announcement from the Cambie Community Centre: Are you a Queer youth or Ally looking for a fun and supportive place to hangout with your friends? Maybe meet new people? Or do fun activities? Every Thursday from 3:30 – 5:30 at the Cambie Community Centre feel welcome to attend PAINT a free-drop in program aimed for you to build community with other queer youth and allies in Richmond!
