Student Notices - Apr. 11, 2024

We would like to begin by acknowledging and thanking the First Peoples of the Hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language groups on whose traditional and unceded territories we teach, learn and live.

 

Cambie Intramurals are coming back. The next event to be offered will be 4 vs 4 volleyball. Teams will need to have 6-8 people registered. Please pick up a sign-up sheet in the PE office, and have all sign-up sheets returned to Mr. Meier by Friday, April 19th. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Meier.

 

Grade 10 students, your Numeracy 10 exam is scheduled for Tuesday April 16 at 8:30 am.  An email was sent out last week regarding this exam.  Please check our website or office window for your writing location.  In addition, there is an optional practice exam today after school in the library.

 

Attention grade 12's! The Cambie scholarship and McEwen scholarship application deadline have been extended until this Friday, April 12th. We have over $60,000 in scholarships to award to deserving grads, but unfortunately, we have had very few applicants. The Valedictory write-up is also past due, and the deadline is also extended until April 12th. Please, please get your submissions in ASAP by the extended deadline!

 

Attention Grade 12 Students! Exciting scholarship opportunities await!

  • BC Tech Scholarship: each reward a $2500, deadline is April 15th
  • BCSSA Grade 12 Scholarship:  each reward a $1000, deadline is April 16th
  • Indo Canadian Business Association Awards: deadline is April 17th
  • MyBlueprint and CST Foundation Bursaries: each bursary $6000, deadline is April 26th
