Good morning Cambie! It’s the Early Bird Bites. We will run every morning for 30 minutes before classes start. Take what you need, and gain more energy! Early Bird Bites, EBB will be waiting for you!

 

Bonjour Cambie! This week pre-orders for our Krispy Kreme doughnuts sale will be happening in the rotunda at lunch! You can purchase in person or on school cash online for $15 dollars a box. All proceeds will go towards our upcoming Quebec Trip. Doughnut hesitate to go out and buy it!

 

This is a reminder to all international students of the meeting at lunch today in the library.  See you there. 

 

Attention SHARE members and all those interested in joining Cambie's favourite Social Justice Club!!! Head on down to Room B213 for SHARE'S very first meeting!! See you there.

 

Attention Debate club.  There will a meeting in Ms. Sanders' room in A211 today at lunch.  

 

All students registered in the Medical Science program, grade 11 & 12 a reminder that your "before you start your work placement" paperwork is due this Thursday Sept 28th, please see Ms. Wood if you have questions. 

 

For Grade 12’s: Will you be pursuing a post-secondary degree in the STEM fields: Science, Technology, Engineering or Math? You could win a $120,000 Schulich scholarship.  Ask Ms Koo or Mrs Wilding for further information.  Or speak to your school administrators by January 15, 2024.

 

Tryouts for Cambie's cheer team is this Friday September 29. Everyone of any is welcome to try out even if you did not attend the skill clinics. Questions? See Mme Masaki in room B211 or DM @cambiecheer on Instagram.

 

September 29th is Orange Shirt Day at Cambie, in support of The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Wear an orange shirt to spread awareness of the deep-seated injustices that have impacted Indigenous communities for generations. Additionally on September 29th, come to the rotunda at lunch to watch a short film, produced by Cambie's social Justice club SHARE, to educate yourself about the history and meaning of truth and reconciliation day.

 

Attention cambie students! SHARE is selling pins in honour of Truth and Reconciliation Day at lunch, by the rotunda's staircase!! Pins may be bought with any amount donated!! All proceeds go towards ReconciliationCanada. So bring your cash and coins to the rotunda at lunch today to support this amazing cause!
