We would like to begin by acknowledging and thanking the First Peoples of the Hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language groups on whose traditional and unceded territories we teach, learn and live.

Any boys interested in playing senior boys volleyball this year, there will be a trial tryout on Monday at 5:00.

Today is the Cambie Cheer team’s first skill clinic. It will be held in the rotunda at 3:30pm and will end at 5:00pm. No experience is required to attend and all genders are welcome. Any questions, see Mme Masaki in room B211 or DM @cambiecheer on Instagram. See you on the mat!

At 18-years-old, occurring for over 40 years now, Terry Fox started the biggest marathon, the Marathon of Hope. At the age of 18, Terry Fox was diagnosed with bone cancer and gave up his right leg to prevent the spreading of the disease. After losing his leg, Terry decided to run across Canada to raise awareness and money for cancer research. In present time, we run the Terry Fox Run in order to fundraise for cancer research and continue to install hope. This year, Cambie’s annual Terry Fox Run is on Wednesday, September 20th. Our goal is to raise $600 which will be donated to the Terry Fox Fund for Cancer Research. The Cambie Rec students will come to collect any donations during B block classes starting today, September 15th. The class that donates the most money will receive a doughnut party!

Attention all students who are going on the Quebec trip in 2024. We will be having a meeting Tuesday, September 19th at the start of PLT in Mme Masaki’s room. Please arrive promptly.
