If you are uncertain about what to do after high school, you can start with a career test to explore your options. Alternatively, consider volunteering in areas that interest you or trying out part-time or summer jobs to begin your career journey. Experience is the best teacher, and you will find your answer only when you start to act!

myBlueprint – This web application supports students through their Career Education journey. Students will use it to complete tasks, join a class, create artifact collections that you can showcase and present, and explore what life will look like after high school.
Getting Started:
1. Visit www.myBlueprint.ca/sd38
2. Click Sign Up
3. Select your school from the drop-down menu and click Create Account.
4. When prompted to select your account type, click on Student, select your
grade, and click Continue
5. Enter your Education Number (PEN number) and Personal Info, and click
Continue
6. Enter the Account Info, and agree to the Terms of Use and Private policy.
Click Continue.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
This program offers up to 6-weeks of workshops and training that supports young adults who are looking for support in finding and keeping a job. We offer holistic, individualized assistance including sector-based workshops and training in the areas of Activity Leader /Retail Sales / Food and Hospitality /Customer Service or Office Administration / Clerical. Sessions offered bi-monthly, using a hybrid (online/in-person) service delivery model based on the needs of each Participant. Completion bonuses of up to $600 will be provided to participants who complete various progress markers.
ELIGIBLITY:
· Aged 16 to 29 (inclusive)
· Unemployed or precariously employed
· Legally entitled to work in Canada (including those International Students who are on open work permits)
· Self-identifies as facing or having faced a mental health concern, isolation or similar, or/and barriers to employment such as limited ability to access work opportunities, lack of training/ education

our fourth intake will be starting early next month on June 10th , 2024. If some of your interested students are still in school in June, the following cohort is scheduled to start in August. We could recruit up to 16 eligible youth aged 16 to 29 with past or current mental health concerns or/and other barriers to employment.
