Student Announcements – November 3, 2025

We would like to begin by acknowledging and thanking the First Peoples of the Hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language groups on whose traditional and unceded territories we teach, learn and live.

Any girls in grade 10 interested in playing basketball this year, there is a grade 10 girls dedicated sign-up sheet posted outside of the PE Office. A coach has been found, so if there are enough girls, you will have your own team.

Any boys in grade 8 interested in playing basketball this year, your first tryout will take place today at 3:00.

A reminder to any boys in grade 9 interested in playing basketball this year that your first tryout is today at 5:00.

A reminder to any girls in grade 9 interested in playing basketball this year that your first tryout is tomorrow/Tuesday at 3:00.

 

A reminder to any girls in grades 10-12 interested in playing basketball this year that there is an open gym tomorrow at 3:00.


 

Any boys in grade 10 interested in playing basketball this year, your first tryout will be on Wednesday at 5:00.

 

Any girls in grade 8, interested in being a part of a team, playing basketball, there will be an open gym on Wednesday at 3:00. Open gym is a no pressure way to try something out. Even if you are unsure of how things work, or unsure if you would like to play, please come check it out and meet the coaches. If you have any questions at all, please see Mr. Meier.

 

Cambie Intramurals are back, with a 3 on 3 basketball league to kick things off. We will have a schedule out shortly. However, we will accept last minute team submissions today. Please pick up and drop off completed forms to the PE Office."
