Student Announcements - October 23, 2025

If you got your photo retaken on October 10, your new ID Cards are here! Please come to the office to pick them up.

Attention Rec Leadership students, if you would like to volunteer to assist with the Remembrance Day assembly, please be sure to sign up at the office today.  Ms. Timmins will contact you early next week to discuss your role in supporting the ceremony.   
 
We are looking for 10 students to be Ushers and 12 students to take part in the ceremony, likely including candle lighting.
Be sure to sign up TODAY.
 
ALL GRADE 11 and 12s. Today is the last day to save the November to Remember dance from being cancelled! If enough tickets aren’t bought by the end of the day, grade 12s won’t have any major events until June and Grade 11s may not get a Winter Formal next year. So buy your tickets now or else grad council will haunt you!

Congratulations to Sid Kadatare for an impressive showing at the Cross Country zone championships yesterday. Sid has officially qualified for the Grade 10 Provincials as a grade 9 student. Well done Sid - keep up thegreat work!

Anyone interested in playing basketball or table tennis on a Cambie school team this year, there are sign-up sheets posted outside of the PE Office. Please listen to the announcements for tryout information.

Any boys in grade 11 or 12 interested in playing basketball this year, your first tryout will take place tomorrow Tuesday, October 28th at 7:00.

Reminder to everyone that Cambie Intramurals are back. The first activity is 3 on 3 basketball. Create your own team of 4-6 people, and compete in this fun in-school activity. Games will take place at lunch. This is open to everyone within the school. Sign-up sheets can be picked up, and returned to the PE Office. If you have any questions at all, please see Mr. Meier.

Attention Ms. Foster's 2D / Art Studio students:  Today is the final day to claim your golden Klimt creations!  Please pick up your projects from room B121 by the end of the day TODAY.  Unclaimed artworks will be RECYCLED.  Don't let your art become toilet paper...pick up your paintings today!

Good morning Cambie Coyotes! Halloween is just around the corner, so next week is our first spirit week of the school year.  Monday will be Matcha Monday! You can wear the colour of matcha, or even more exciting, you can put on your aesthetics as if you’re going for a cup of matcha in the café. Bring your tote bags with key chains and earphones! Don’t forget to submit your photos by messaging to @cambiestuco on Instagram or using the QR code posted around the school to enter the raffle to win a $10 Tim Hortons Gift Card!
