The Final Countown is On Coyotes! Our final yearbook order will be placed very soon. We will order a book for everyone who has pre-ordered. If you have already ordered your, great! If not, now is the time. After March 14 we can no longer guarantee you a copy as quantities will be limited. Order yours Today to ensure you don’t miss out! Preview pages are posted outside the library for viewing!

 

Hey Grads!  Have you submitted your grad write-up and baby picture yet?  Kindly go to the school website and complete the form found under Students > Graduation > Yearbook Grad Write-ups & Baby Picture. Both submissions are due by next Friday, March 14! 😄

Hey Cambie students, it's reading Riot time again! For those who don't know reading riot is a yearly reading contest. Come to the library and read some great books from great authors. The contest is on now, and will run until April 04, and it's easy to join! Read as many of the 12 titles as you wish. As you finish each book, fill out a ballot in the library, rating your book from 1-5 stars. Every Friday, a ballot is drawn and one participant wins a prize, so come and join in on the fun!

 

Congratulations to Nuri Tileuzhan for being this weeks winner in the Reading Riot weekly draw!!! And could Alicia Nguyen please come to the library and pick up your prize from last week! We are done the Reading Riot on April 4 so come grab some books to read over the spring break and get in on the riot!!

 

Hello Cambie students, please be aware that the Richmond School District supports a scent-free environment. Staff, students, and visitors may have severe heath reactions to strong scents such as perfumes, colognes, shampoos, and heavily scented items. Please be aware of this information as you get ready for school. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our school air healthy and fragrance-free.  

 

Online application forms for Cambie's school scholarships and McEwan Family Scholarships/Awards are now open and available for submission. The window to apply is from February 21 to April 1, 2025 by 3pm. Please go to the school website for detailed information or see Ms Hui if you have any questions.

 

We’re seeing lots of early pandemic vibes for COVID Throwback: Pajamas, masks, and Zoom looks everywhere. Tomorrow is Soccer Mom vs. BBQ Dad. Starbucks cups or grilling aprons: you decide!

 

The cafeteria is implementing a pilot program of using blue containers to serve food. When you are finished eating, please place the blue container into the bins around the rotunda. There is also one at the top of the stairs in the rotunda. Thank you from the Cambie Ecosavers.

 

To all Grade 10, 11 and 12 students...are you interested in learning more about the field of policing and emergency services? If so, apply now to attend the Richmond RCMP Youth Academy.  Applications are available on the Career Programs website or see your career advisor Ms. Tang at career center. These are due Wednesday, April 2nd to the RCMP detachment.

Here’s an announcement from the Cambie Community Centre: Are you a Queer youth or Ally looking for a fun and supportive place to hang out with your friends? Maybe meet new people? Or do fun activities? Every Thursday from 3:30 – 5:30 at the Cambie Community Centre feel welcome to attend PAINT a free-drop-in program aimed for you to build community with other queer youth and allies in Richmond!
