Student Notices Feb. 8, 2024

We would like to begin by acknowledging and thanking the First Peoples of the Hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language groups on whose traditional and unceded territories we teach, learn and live.

 

Cambie Theatre presents Anon(ymous) by Naomi Iizuka, today and tomorrow February 8-9th at 7PM in the drama room. Tickets are only $10 and are available at the door. ‘Separated from his mother, a young refugee called Anon journeys through the United States, encountering a wide variety of people -- some kind, some dangerous and cruel -- as he searches for his family.’ Again, tickets are only $10 and you can purchase them at the door. See you all there!!

 

Crush Cans IS BACK! Buy a crush can for only a $2! You can buy orange for your friend, cream soda for your partner, grape for that secret admirer and root beer for a situatioship!! You can buy the crush cans all throughout THIS WEEK in the rotunda. BUY THEM WHILE YOU CAN!

 

Registration for Full credit online Summer School with Richmond Virtual School opens on February 20.  These courses require mandatory attendance at their face to face meetings 2X per week throughout July and into August.  Registration for in person courses will be available mid May through Richmond Continuing Education.

Here’s an announcement from the Cambie Community Centre: Are you a Queer youth or Ally looking for a fun and supportive place to hang out with your friends? Maybe meet new people? Or do fun activities? Every Thursday from 4-6PM at the Cambie Community Centre feel welcome to attend PAINT a free-drop in program aimed for you to build community with other queer youth and allies in Richmond!
