Student Notices - Nov. 24, 2023

We would like to begin by acknowledging and thanking the First Peoples of the Hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language groups on whose traditional and unceded territories we teach, learn and live.

Did you know 1 in 3 women will experience gender-based violence in their lifetime according to United Nations’ statistics. This information is brought to you by WeForShe,

We invite you to acknowledge that tomorrow, November 25th is the International Day of Elimination for Violence Against Women. This is an opportunity to be reminded and to raise awareness about the importance of community when trying to create a safer world for women as a society. A day to learn and educate yourself about how to support others in handling or addressing situations regarding violence whether it's physical or psychological.

Seek out credible resources or stay tuned on WeForShe accounts @cambieweforshe on social media for more information.
