Student Announcements - April 21, 2026

We would like to begin by acknowledging and thanking the First Peoples of the Hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language groups on whose traditional and unceded territories we teach, learn and live.

Any students who are registered for the Numeracy 10 or Literacy 10/12 assessments for tomorrow – please check the schedule posted outside the office!

Attention to all students who have been collecting School Service hours. If you want to be considered for recognition at the Cambie Awards ceremony for service to the school please ensure that your service hours record of hours paper is handed into the office by 3pm this coming Friday, April 24. Recognition of school service does not include outside volunteer hours. If you need a form, please drop by the office and take one from the plastic holder on the wall by the phone.

Hello Cambie bicycle riders! Bring your bicycle to the Rotunda today during lunchtime, for a free adjustment and safety check by former bicycle mechanic Ms. Beckie

Our second annual district-wide post-secondary fair will be held this Thursday, April 23, at Richmond High from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Please register to attend at the Career Center. 

Are you thinking about a career in the Emergency Health Services? Come learn about jobs as a 9-1-1 dispatcher, paramedic, patient transfer coordinator and more. Ms. Courtney Harrison of the BC Emergency Health Services will give a presentation at Steveston London Secondary on Monday, April 27 starting at 3:20 pm. You will learn about the many the different occupations available to you within the Emergency Health Services field. Parents are welcome to attend.

Today is smoothie bike Tuesday! Come on down to the rotunda at lunch and make yourself some smoothies! All you have to do is pedal to the metal and the bike will do the rest! See you there coyotes!
