Student Announcements - April 17, 2026

We would like to begin by acknowledging and thanking the First Peoples of the Hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language groups on whose traditional and unceded territories we teach, learn and live.

Any students who are registered for the Numeracy 10 or Literacy 10/12 assessments on Wednesday – please check the schedule posted outside the office!

Hello Cambie bicycle riders! Bring your bicycle to the Rotunda on Tuesday April 21, during lunchtime,  for a free adjustment and safety check by former bicycle mechanic Ms. Beckie

Attention Track and Field athletes! There will be a very short meeting with Ms. Timmins at the beginning of lunch time in the library for all students who are competing in Track and Field events next week.  This is an important but short meeting. 

Attention to all students who have been collecting School Service hours. If you want to be considered for recognition at the Cambie Awards ceremony for service to the school please ensure that your service hours record of hours paper is handed into the office TODAY by 3pm.Recognition of school service does not include outside volunteer hours. If you need a form, please drop by the office and take one from the plastic holder on the wall by the phone.

Hey coyotes Earth week is coming up. Ecosavers has a bunch of events for you to participate during lunch time including Bottle Search Monday, Smoothie Bike Tuesday, Plant a plant Wednesday, Book Swap Thursday and Paper Bracelets Friday. If you have any old books that you don’t read anymore, bring them to the library on Thursday to trade for a new one!

Attention all grade 11s: Are you interested in helping to make your grade 12 year as amazing as possible? If so, you should consider being a Grad Council executive next year! Please see Mr Hamm or Mme Masaki, scan the QR code given to your A block teacher, or check the Grad Council Instagram page for more information. Applications are due Sunday, April 19th.

Any grade 8 students who are interesting in challenging their math skills and would like to participate in the upcoming Gauss mathematics contest are invited to talk to their math teacher or see Mr Hamm in C201 by Thursday, April 23rd to sign up.
