A huge congratulations to the grade 9 girls basketball team who placed fourth in the entire Province at the Provincial basketball championships this past weekend. It is the highest any Cambie team has placed in Provincials in over 20 years. Many of the girls had great showings throughout the tournament; Raia Kanda and Aubrey Langelaan were tenacious on defense. Joanna Wei was a steady presence both offensively and defensively. While Amira Gill was recognized for her outstanding play by being named to the Provincial first all-star team. Way to go girls!

There is open gym badminton tomorrow Tuesday Feb 24 and Thursday Feb 26 from 3pm - 5pm. There will also be a basic intro to badminton tomorrow at 3pm in Gym A for those interested in the badminton team.
