Student Announcements - February 10, 2026

We would like to begin by acknowledging and thanking the First Peoples of the Hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language groups on whose traditional and unceded territories we teach, learn and live.

Any students that missed the program planning assembly on Friday, February 6 – please come to the office to pick up your course selection sheets for next year!

Attention Coyotes! Cambie Debate will be having a fundraiser for potential trips and debate competitions in the club on Friday February 20th at lunch in the rotunda. We’ll offer a variety of chips and soda for your snacking pleasure. Again, one day only – Friday, February 20th at lunch in the rotunda, see you there!

Cambie Coyotes, come down to the library and watch the Olympic on the big screen, we will be streaming live events all day!

Want to make someone’s heart fizz this Valentine’s season? Buy a can of Crush at lunch in the rotunda between February 2nd and 11th and we’ll deliver it to your chosen person on February 12 during Block B. Spread some happiness, giggles, and maybe even a little Valentine’s magic, one fizzy can at a time!

Badminton tryouts will only be for Gr. 11 and 12s this Thursday Feb 12th. Gr. 8, 9, and 10s are to be announced at a later date.

Any students in grades 10 or 11 interested in taking Rec Leadership for next school year, the application process is now open. Please pick up an application slip from either the front counter of the Main Office, or from the PE Office. Please write your name where applicable, and ask two teachers to be a reference for you, then complete the online application by following the instructions provided on the slip. If you have any questions at all about the application process, or the course itself, please see Mr. Meier.

A huge congratulations to the members of the grade 9 girls basketball team for winning the city championships for the second consecutive year. We wish the team luck as they continue on as the top seeded team in the South Fraser Championships!

Any boys in grade 8 or 9 interested in playing volleyball this year, there is a sign-up sheet posted outside of the PE Office.

attention students! Interact Club is excited to present Petals and Pages! Want to brighten someone's day? Send a Rose Gram to a friend, a crush, or someone who deserves some love. Rose Grams are $5 for one, or $20 for a bouquet, and each one comes with a letter and envelope included. You can buy Rose Grams this week at lunch in the rotunda! Rose Grams will be distributed on February 12th during C Block. Stop by, spread some kindness, and make someone's day extra special. Thanks from Interact Club!
