Student Announcements - September 12, 2025

We would like to begin by acknowledging and thanking the First Peoples of the Hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language groups on whose traditional and unceded territories we teach, learn and live.

To all students who signed up for the swim team this year, if you missed Thursday's meeting, please see Ms. Wood in the Commons as soon as possible to ensure your spot on the team.

to all Pathways students, there will be a welcome lunch on Friday, in the library.

Attention all club leaders: There will be a mandatory meeting this Friday at lunch in Room B211, Madame Masaki’s room, to discuss details for Club Fest. We look forward to seeing you there!

HEY YOU! Yea I’m talking to you! Hey Coyotes, our annual Terry Fox is coming very soon; September 17th. We will start collecting donations start tomorrow in your block classes. Get your water bottles and running shoes ready for the big day. Join the marathon of hope, who are you running for?!

Any girls in grade 8 or 9 interested in playing volleyball this year, there will be a skills dveelopment, open gym on Monday at 3:00.

Any girls in grade 10 interested in playing volleyball this year, there will be a tryout on Monday at 5:00.

Any boys in grade 10-12 interested in playing soccer this year, there will be a tryout on Monday at 3:15 on the turf field at King George Park.

Any boys in grades 8 or 9 interested in playing rugby this year, the first practice will be on Tuesday at 3:15 on the rugby pitch, next to the turf field. If you have any questions at all, please see Mr. Wallace or Mr. Meier

Hey COYOTES! Are you interested in trying out for the cheer team? TODAY is the first skills clinic from 3:30-5pm in Gym B. We will be teaching you the skills you need to be prepared for Tryouts. This is also a great opportunity to try the sport without the pressure of Tryouts. Please wear athletic gear and indoor running shoes.

Our second skills clinic will be next Wednesday September 17th from 3:30-5pm, and Tryouts will be next Friday September 19th from 3:30 to 6pm. Any questions, DM @cambiecheer on instagram or see Mme Masaki in room B211.

Hello Cambie Coyotes.  There will be a meeting for all students interested in being a Library Monitor on Monday Sept. 29 at Lunch in the library.  We will be discussing the work done, training and the time commitment. If you have any questions, please ask Mr. Ryan or Ms. Alcarraz.

Hey Coyotes!  Interested in volunteering? Do you love volunteering and coming up with fun youth initiatives? Then the Cambie Community Centre would love your assistance!

The Cambie Community Centre has a volunteer club called Youth Taking Charge.

Those who volunteer with the Community Centre are eligible able to apply to our end of the year scholarship as well, as we offer the scholarship to those who have accredited hours with Cambie directly.

There will be an Information Session on September 16 3:30-4:45pm at the Community Centre.
