Student Announcements - June 9, 2025

We would like to begin by acknowledging and thanking the First Peoples of the Hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language groups on whose traditional and unceded territories we teach, learn and live.

 

Students who received awards but did not make it to our awards night – please come to the office to pick up them up!

 

Grads, please pick up your paid valedictory tickets from the BA office as soon as possible before next Wednesday. Be sure that you've paid all your outstanding fees before seeing Ms. Ng. Grad gowns and complimentary tickets will be distributed on the rehearsal day. 

 

Attention any grade 9s that had English in semester 1. If you would like to attend the Bard on the Beach field trip on June 18, please see Mr. Rainford for field trip forms as soon as possible. Spots are limited so it is first come, first serve.

 

There is one final international lunch meeting on Tuesday, June 10 at lunch in the library.

 

Congratulations to Ethan Devilliers in grade 9, Terrence Pan in grade 9 Grace in grade 8, Mary in grade 8 Jamie Liu in grade 8, Lessile Li in grade 10, Shukuru Amisi in grade 11 you guys have all won new bike gear! Thank you for biking to school and grab your prizes in Ms. Yams, B203!!

 

Good morning Cambie Coyotes! It is time to dig into the bottom of your backpack or the bottom of your closet and return all library books to Mr. Ryan or Ms. Alcarrez. Mr. Ryan will be paying visits to classroom to hunt down books.  Return them as soon as you can.  Any lost or missing books not found or paid for will mean you can't get your yearbook.

 

Attention all students enrolled in AP Art 12 and Art Enriched 11 for NEXT year:  You have very important meetings this week to discuss your upcoming course, and summer art projects!  Next year’s  AP Art 12 students, please meet in B120 at the start of lunch TODAY.  Next year’s Art Enriched 11 students – your meeting is at the start of lunch TOMORROW, June 10th.  Please arrive promptly at the start of lunch. See Ms. Foster with any questions.

 

Hey Cambie! Are you interested in making Tie-Dye T-shirts? Well now’s your chance! Cambie Community Centre’s Youth Taking charge is hosting a free event on June 10th from 3:30pm-5Pm to make your own Tie-Dye shirts. Get information by signing up through the QR codes posted around the school. There are limited spots. See you there!

 

Attention Grads! Dinner/dance is coming up soon and we need to organize seating plans. Please fill in the form on the Grad Council Instagram page or scan the QR code outside grade 12 classrooms to secure a seat with your friends! All requests must be submitted by June 17th to be considered. See Mr Hamm for more info.
