Attention all grads! The Yearbook crew is organizing a photo session for friendship group photos! Come to the library TODAY at lunch to take photos with your friends! These photos will be featured in this year's yearbook! Don’t miss out! 😀😀

 

Get ready, Cambie! The Teacher vs. Seniors Volleyball game is now on tomorrow during lunch in Gym A. Come support the players and enjoy a fun and competitive match. See you there!

 

Elections Canada will be visiting Cambie during the lunch hour today to provide information about job opportunities on Election Day (Monday April 28th) and to register students that are Canadian citizens and 18 years of age by voting day that are interested in getting on the voter list. 

Please visit elections.ca to see what ID is required and bring it along when you visit us outside the main office.

Anndd it’s official Cambie! Our tropical night of fun is happening TOMORROW from 6:00-8:30pm. We can’t wait to see you enjoy all the fun we have planned for you! Make sure to come in your tropical attire!

Also super important! Please bring your school ID and physical ticket to the dance. Check @cambiestuco on Instagram and the back of your ticket for clarification on details and rules!

Good Morning Cambie Coyotes!! This is a reminder that the library will be closed today at lunch for the Reading riot Pizza party!  Anyone who participated in the Riot, please come down to the library at lunch!

 

Come to the Library tomorrow for an Egg Hunt. Hidden throughout the library will be plastic eggs! Find one and bring it to Mr. Ryan or Ms. Alcarrez for a prize! One prize per student.  The hunt will be on all day! Come have some fun!

Pre-order now through School-Cash online from now until April 17th. Just Scan the QR code posted around the school. Pick up will be on April 25th. Don’t miss out on this opportunity for some tasty donuts or to just help out, as all proceeds go towards the Pathways grade 9 Strathcona field trip! 

 

Congratulations to the Girls Rugby Team on their exciting, come from behind victory yesterday, 24-17 over Sullivan Heights. Vicky Mai scored her first try, Preet Grewal added one, and Amelia King scored not once, but twice in this game. Rhea Bains also added two successfully converted kicks to complete the scoring. The girls' next game is next Monday at home against Johnston Heights - come out to cheer the girls on! If any girls are interested in trying rugby out, our next practice is tomorrow, after school. It's not too late yet to sign up for Track and Field. If you are interested in participating, please see Mr. Meier, Ms. Alblas, or Mr. Gustavson.

Staff, students, and visitors may have severe heath reactions to strong scents such as perfumes, colognes, shampoos, and heavily scented items. Please be aware of this information as you get ready for school. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our school air healthy and fragrance-free.  

 

Intramurals is back! We have our next league ready to go; it will be 4 on 4 volleyball. What is intramurals? It is a fun, exciting activity at lunch. Create a team with friends and play against other teams made up of other Cambie students. Sign-up sheets are available in the PE Office. Team registration is due by tomorrow, April 17th.
