Student Announcements - January 16, 2025

We would like to begin by acknowledging and thanking the First Peoples of the Hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language groups on whose traditional and unceded territories we teach, learn and live.

Attention grade 10s and grade 12s. This is a reminder that on January 23, all grades 10 and 12s will be writing the Literacy Grad Assessment. Grade 12 sessions will start at 8:30 to 11:30am, and Grade 10 sessions will start at 12pm to 3pm. A schedule of assigned rooms will be posted on the wall next to the office doors later this week*. Please ensure you check the schedule to see which classroom you are assigned to write your assessment. See Ms. Hui if you have any questions.

Reminder that the CAMBIE CLASSIC TOURNAMENT continues this week! The Junior and Senior boys will have their tournaments TODAY until Friday. Get ready for the hype and basketball craze! Come watch in the gyms and be loud! See you there.

Hey Cambie students, it's reading Riot time again! For those who don't know reading riot is a yearly reading contest. Come to the library and read some great books from great authors. The contest is on now, and will run until April 04, and it's easy to join! Read as many of the 12 titles as you wish. As you finish each book, fill out a ballot in the library, rating your book from 1-5 stars. Every Friday, a ballot is drawn and one participant wins a prize, so come and join in on the fun!

Good Morning Cambie Coyotes! Please remember to come to the Library tomorrow morning for hot chocolate and check out the new books and the new furniture!
