We would like to begin by acknowledging and thanking the First Peoples of the Hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language groups on whose traditional and unceded territories we teach, learn and live.

 

Thank you to all students who are participating in Cambie Reading Riot. It is a success. This week's winner is Grade 9 student Iris O. Iris O. in Grade 9, please see Mrs. Kos in the library to collect your prize. Cambie Reading Riot runs until April 30th, so there is lots of time left to join. Hey Coyotes, we’re having an incredible pep rally this coming Monday, February 26th, during lunchtime! Get ready to bring the school spirit and enjoy some popcorn! It's going to be a blast, so make sure to spread the word and get hyped for tomorrow's pep rally! See you there! 

 

On Thursday, February 29th during PLT, a professional photographer will be at the school to take a group class photo of our Grade 8 and Grade 12 students that will be featured in this year's yearbook. All Grade 8 students are to meet in the Rotunda at 9:00 am, and Grade 12 students in the Rotunda at 9:25 am. Do not be late - the photographer will not wait for latecomers to take the class photo! 

 

Attention all grade 12s, there will be a meeting TODAY at lunch in Mr. Hamm’s room (C201) to discuss a fundraiser to help us raise money for Dry Grad. Those who attend and participate will have the chance to earn prizes!

Here’s an announcement from the Cambie Community Centre: Are you looking for a fun place to hangout with your friends? Maybe meet new people? Or do fun activities? Well, every Friday from 6-8:30pm at Cambie Community Centre feel welcome to attend their late Volleyball, or Basketball drop in. Only a Valid Active Pass is required and everyone is welcome! 16+ are encouraged to stay longer for the late LATE night sport drop in from 9:00 – 11:30pm. Government ID and a fee of $3.30 is required. Or you can check out Cambie’s Friday Night hangout offered in the games room from 6:00 – 9:00pm also free with a valid active pass.
