Student Notices Jan. 12, 2024

We would like to begin by acknowledging and thanking the First Peoples of the Hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language groups on whose traditional and unceded territories we teach, learn and live.

This is a reminder that Grade 12's are scheduled to write their Provincial Literacy Assessment 12 next week - Tuesday, January 16th from 8:30 am to 11:45 am. A schedule of the locations and names of students to write are posted on the wall just left of the office doors. Note that students will be assigned a specific location in the school and MUST go there to write. Make sure you arrive between 8:30-8:40 am to complete login credentials and be ready to start.  PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME!  See Ms. Hui if you have any questions.

Attention Grads! Your grad gear has arrived! Please pick them up in Mr. Hamm’s room as soon as possible.

All grade 12s and 11s, if you missed the previous winter formal ticket deadline, you’re in luck! Winter formal tickets can now be bought until February 9th. It is crucial that we meet our 100 ticket quota or else this grand and exciting event will not happen. There will be delicious south asian catering and a DJ playing music so buy your tickets ASAP while you still can.

Any students who are interested in writing the Waterloo math contests this school year, please see Mrs. Law in room C213 to sign up. Deadline to sign up is Monday, January 15.

Any boys in grades 10-12 interested in playing rugby this year, please sign yourself up on the sheet outside of the PE Office.

Any girls in grades 8-12 interested in playing rugby, or learning to play rugby this year, please sign yourself up on the sheet outside of the PE Office - if you have any questions, please see Mr. Meier.
