Feedback from student reflections identified the students’ positive feelings about the day’s activities.  They identified the positive atmosphere and fun getting to meet new people and the positive feelings with the team building games. The students noted a developing sense of community; “being a part of something bigger than ourselves.”  They identified that they would like to do more of the collaborative activities/games, and this has helped to “bring them out of their shells” and feel good about meeting new friends.  This positive impact of teamwork and collaboration is a great way to support students as they step into classes with each other.
