We would like to begin by acknowledging and thanking the First Peoples of the Hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language groups on whose traditional and unceded territories we teach, learn and live.

Hey hey hey! Attention to all student council members, we will be having a spirit week banner making session after school TODAY. Come on down to upstairs B wing for some creative fun and complementary snacks! You will also receive volunteer hours so bring your friends and we’ll see you there!

 

Attention all grads! Next week is the start of grad spirit week yayy ٩(ˊˋ*)و Get ready because Tuesday is Dress as Your Type day followed by: white lies wednesday, adam sandlers thursday and barbieheimer friday. We’re looking forward to seeing your grad spirit^^

 

Attention all Club Leaders! There is an important meeting today at the beginning of lunch in Mme Masaki’s room. Please be prompt!

 

Grand Council is hosting a pizza fundraiser Oct. 6th Friday at lunch in the rotunda. Pizza slices are $2.50 each and it’s cash only!

 

For Grade 12’s: Will you be pursuing a post-secondary degree in the STEM fields: Science, Technology, Engineering or Math? You could win a $120,000 Schulich scholarship.  Ask Ms. Koo or Mrs. Wilding for further information.  Or speak to your school administrators by January 15, 2024.

 

A representative from UBC School of Medicine will be here on Friday Oct 6 at lunch time to introduce the requirements for students interested in a career in medicine. The meeting will be in A209, Ms. Wood’s classroom.  Pls be prompt if you want to hear this presentation.

 

BCIT is having their largest program expo on Wednesday, Oct 11 from 4 to 7 pm at the Burnaby campus. Register to win one of the three $1000 tuition fee prizes. Or join online for the same information on Oct 18 from 4 – 7 30 pm at Bcit.ca/biginfo.  Please see poster in the counselling centre.
