Student Notices - May 5, 2023

We would like to begin by acknowledging and thanking the First Peoples of the Hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language groups on whose traditional and unceded territories we teach, learn and live.

All students attending the Quebec trip: a reminder that there is a meeting today at lunch in Madame Masaki’s room. See you there!

To all last semester photo students, Mr. H has your work ready for pick up in the photo room, it’s hard for him to let such awesome work leave the class, but it’s time to pick them up! He is spring cleaning now… so they won’t be around for long!

Attention students going into grades 10, 11 and 12 for the September 2023, in person summer school information is now available on our website so look and browse the catalog for Full Credit summer school course offerings on Page 4 of the guide.  Registration opens next week so it’s a great time to visit the continuing education website and make your account, so you are ready to register when the course you want to take becomes available.  See a counsellor if you need any assistance.

Hey Cambie, are you craving some delicious pie? Well, Math Club will be hosting a Pi Day event in the rotunda at lunch TODAY where, if you recite more than 25 digits after the decimal of pi, you will receive a slice of pie. The more you recite, the bigger your slice of pie. So, get ready Cambie, it’s time to train your memory and get free pie.

Attention all Cambie Basketball players. If you played on a Cambie basketball team this year, you are invited to a celebratory lunch TODAY in Gym A. To attend the lunch, you need to have returned your basketball jersey. If you have not done so yet, you can bring your jersey back to Mr. Meier any time this week, or at the lunch TODAY.
