Student Notices - Apr. 11, 2023

Hello Grade 12s, have you decided what you are doing after high school? Do you have a university, college, or career in mind? If you would like to share your post-secondary plans on the yearbook, please visit Mr. Liu in room A115 today at lunch time.

Bonjour Cambie coyotes, have you ever wanted to taste authentic French cuisine? Well, the closest Cambie French could get was pizza, cookies, and brownies which they will be selling this Friday, April 14 at lunch to fundraise for their trip to Quebec next year. Pizza will be 2.50 per slice, and brownies and cookies will be 1.50 a piece. Come and support their trip to Quebec and enjoy a hot slice of pizza and a delicious cookie or brownie!

Hey Cambie, SHARE’s Ramadan food and cash drive is back! During Block D every Tuesday we will be collecting Monetary donations, and non-perishable food and drink from March 29th to April 19th in support of the BC Muslim Food Bank. Food is 2 points and Cash is 1 point per dollar. Ramadan Mubarak!!

Did you know, Ramadan is the ninth month of the 12-month Islamic calendar, a lunar calendar that’s based on the phases of the moon. The lunar calendar falls short of the solar calendar by 11 days. As a result, Ramadan doesn’t start on the same date each year and instead, over time, passes through all the seasons.

This is a message for all grade 11 Medical Science WEX students who have not completed their paperwork. Please sign up for a PLT or a meeting between now and April 14th with Ms. Wood. This is an opportunity to check in and hand in missing paperwork before marks cut off.
