Student Notices - Mar. 6, 2023

We would like to begin by acknowledging and thanking the First Peoples of the Hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language groups on whose traditional and unceded territories we teach, learn and live.

 

Any boys in grade 8 interested in playing volleyball this year, the first tryouts will be on TODAY, Monday, March 6th, at 3:00.

 

Students interested in choir and singing at valedictory come to the band room TODAY at Lunch!

 

Demetrius: Lysander! Art thou coming to watch Cambie Theatre's Production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream"

Lysander: Yes Demetrius. *Hermia* and I will be coming to watch the shows together. Demetrius: Which night art thou going? Tuesday March 7th? Wednesday March 8th? Thursday March 9th? or the final show on Friday March 10th.

Lysander: All of them. After all, they are only $10 per ticket, purchasable at the door at 6 30PM
Demetrius: Quick, come to watch A Midsummer Night's Dream from March 7th-10 for only $10 per ticket.

 

Hey Cambie, Math Club will be offering tutoring and help in mathematics during lunch on Mondays and for one hour afterschool on Tuesdays in C213 (Mrs. Law’s classroom). Anyone is welcome to walk-in and receive help. If anyone wants more sessions besides the offered availability, please see your math teacher and they can forward you the contact information. If anyone is interested in becoming a math tutor, it is open to anyone in grade 10-12 with a B or higher in their math course and they can receive volunteering hours for being a tutor. Please directly speak to your math teacher or Mrs. Law in C213.
