Hey Cambie! It’s day 3 of our winter wellness and here is your tip: good care of yourself is important through stressful times, some ways to do this is to eat healthy food and drink lots of water, exercise or be active each day, balancing work and play, spend time on activities or things you enjoy and get a good night sleep! Attention Cambie students and staff! Get ready for Student Council’s Pep Rally on Monday December 5th to pump you up before the Home Opener after school! We’ll be having some fun, grade versus grade activities in Gym A as well as a K-Pop performance, so make sure to pop by! In addition, each grade can dress up as the following colours to show your school pride! Grade 8 wears white, Grade 9 wears green, Grade 10 wears purple, Grade 11 wears Blue, Grade 12 wears Black, and finally Teachers wear red. There will also be free popcorn for everyone who attends. Hope to see everyone there!
Hello Cambie students, this is a reminder from the library to check the due dates on the books you have checked out. We currently have 140 books which are overdue. Please return all overdue books to the library as soon as possible. Let's be responsible borrowers.
Did you know that Cambie’s SOCK WARS has donated thousands of dollars, socks, gloves and other essential items to community programs in the Lower Mainland over the last 10+ years? This year our donations will be supporting two programs: Kidsafe and Youth Unlimited’s ‘Street Life Outreach’ Program. Both programs run in Vancouver and support youth in a variety of ways. More information about both programs is to come but keep those donations coming!
An important reminder to grade twelve students that post-secondary institutions continue to be hosting important online application webinars and info sessions for students who have applied or will be applying! Advisors will be available to follow up with any questions you may have about the application process or your application. Among upcoming sessions: Dec 5 - The University of Toronto Information Session for Prospective Students. Hey Cambie, Krispy Kreme donuts have arrived! For those who placed a pre-order, they are available for pick up today at lunch in the Rotunda. There are LIMITED donuts available for purchase today, so come get yours before they are gone - $1.50 per donut, or $12 per dozen. See you there!
