Student Notices - Dec. 1, 2022

We would like to begin by acknowledging and thanking the First Peoples of the Hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language groups on whose traditional and unceded territories we teach, learn and live.

Hey Cambie, it's wellness Thursday and we are kicking off the next 12 days of Winter Wellness by identifying a wellness Champion in your life and reminding you of ways to take good care of yourself even if you have a biology test about the heart on Monday!

A wellness champion is someone who is aware of their well-being and makes positive influences on others around them such as Harry Styles. They challenge you to be your Best Self such as Beyonce. They might have helped you deal with stress, cheer you up when you are down, and remind you to get a good night's sleep such as Taylor Swift. Who is your wellness champion? Take a few minutes to think about it, pop by the rotunda today to fill out a STAR and receive candy!

During our twelve days of Winter Wellness, we will be talking about various ways to help stay mentally healthy. It is especially important to be aware and take care of our mental well-being during these dark winter months and challenging times just like how Taylor Swift helped us get through November with her album, “Midnight.”

Good day, it is your Senator B Lo happy to announce that there will be a mandatory Student council meeting for all PR members at break today. Please arrive quickly to this meeting to make sure all information is heard

Hello Cambie students, this is a reminder from the library to check the due dates on the books you have checked out. We currently have 140 books which are overdue. Please return all overdue books to the library as soon as possible. Let's be responsible borrowers.

Hey Cambie! It’s that time of the year again – SOCK WARS IS BACK! Starting TODAY, we will be collecting NEW socks, gently used sweaters, gently used youth winter jackets, and money to go towards two important programs that run out of Vancouver: Kidsafe and Youth Unlimited’s Street Life Outreach Program.

Following students please come down to the office for an important message: Hedy Liu and Joona Lampe.

Attention Grade 12 students if you missed the assembly yesterday at the end of the day, please pop by the counselling centre today as you need to review and sign your transcript verification report.
