We would like to begin by acknowledging and thanking the First Peoples of the Hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language groups on whose traditional and unceded territories we teach, learn and live.

 

Go Cards and Pictures! Students who had photo retake, we have new student ID cards and pictures in the office!

 

Attention all Cambie Souls!  Two days remain to take in "Dia De Los Muertos" / "The Day of the Dead" - Cambie's Art and Design departments' immersive exhibit in B121.  View the work of nearly 150 of Cambie's creative artists and designers and commune with the spirits of loved ones who have passed on.  Dia De Los Muertos - see you there!

 

This is a reminder to students who are considering taking one of the Language Challenge exams that applications are due to your counsellor THIS week. Also, a new language has been added to the list of exams available – if you can speak read and write Farsi at an appropriate level you may be eligible to challenge an exam to get credit for this language learning! Please see your counsellor for more information.

 

Hey Cambie! Tickets to November 15th's "A Night Around the World" Dance hosted by SHARE and DJ-ed by Cambie alumnus Leon Daba are sold in the rotunda being until November 9th for ONLY $5. Tickets come with Food and Drink! Buy your tickets at the rotunda for only $5 and make sure to wear your cultural clothing or colours of your country's flag to the dance!

Any students interested in playing basketball or table tennis this year, there are sign-up sheets outside of the PE Office. Please listen to the announcements for tryout dates coming up.

 

Hello Cambie Students, Wednesday, November 02 is I Read Canadian Day. I Read Canadian Day is a National Day of Celebration of Canadian books for young people. Cambie students are invited to read a book by a Canadian author for 15 minutes. We encourage all students to come by Cambie Library Learning Commons and take a look at our featured Canadian titles
