Today until Wed, Nov 2nd, celebrate “Dia de Los Muertos” – Day of the Dead – with the Cambie Art and Design departments!  Dia de los Muertos is a Mexican holiday where families and friends welcome the souls of deceased loved ones back to our world for a brief reunion.  Join us at the end of B wing for a fun and festive exhibit honouring our positive, powerful memories of loved ones who have passed on – and showcasing the outstanding creativity of Cambie’s artistic community.  “Dia de los Muertos”- don't miss it!

 

Be on the lookout because some fresh new gear is on its way! With embroidery and print, the grad council has started their sales for cool hoodies and crewnecks!! Available from black, white, grey, and purple, you can choose from two designs that were created by our grad gear team! You also have the choice of having your name embroidered on the sleeve! Prices range from $30 - $55. In-person sales are at lunch in the rotunda, until TODAY. You can also pay through SchoolCashOnline, which will go until next Friday, November 4th. Don’t let this opportunity pass up grads, you can get some cool designs while representing Cambie at the same time!!

 

This is a reminder to students who are considering taking one of the Language Challenge exams that applications are due to your counsellor THIS week. Also, a new language has been added to the list of exams available – if you can speak read and write Farsi at an appropriate level you may be eligible to challenge an exam to get credit for this language learning! Please see your counsellor for more information.

 

Hey Cambie! Tickets to November 15th's "A Night Around the World" Dance hosted by SHARE and DJ-ed by Cambie alumnus Leon Daba are sold in the rotunda being until November 9th for ONLY $5. Tickets come with Food and Drink! Buy your tickets at the rotunda for only $5 and make sure to wear your cultural clothing or colours of your country's flag to the dance!
