In 2020-2021, our school is grappling with significant organizational and scheduling changes to manage all the health requirements of learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Every child deserves a champion and during this global pandemic; our students need a champion more than ever before. Students need an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection, and who insists every student becomes the best they can possibly be. Being a champion for all students during this pandemic means: doing whatever it takes every day, setting high expectations, and settling for nothing less than the student’s best. This unwavering hope and faith in each and every student is the fuel all students desire to help them be the best they can be.
As a staff we will strive to sustain the good work of the past few years by continuing to increase student engagement and developing more authentic learning experiences. With reduced instructional time and student-to-staff and student-to-student contacts, it seems that more than ever before, we need to "champion" our students and their learning.
