Student Notices - Feb.3, 2023

We would like to begin by acknowledging and thanking the First Peoples of the Hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language groups on whose traditional and unceded territories we teach, learn and live.

Hey Cambie! SHARE here with an important message! February is Black History Month. Did you know that Hogan’s Alley was a historical area of Vancouver’s East Side from 1920 to 1960, which became the epicentre of Back Vancouver residents?

Ecosavers will be hosting Sweater Day on next Friday February 10th! They will begin to collect warm clothing donations, for Big Brothers at the start of next week in Block D. Each donation will give you an entry to a draw. On Friday the 10th, free hot chocolate will be offered to those who donate or those who bring a mug and wear a sweater. Be sure to bring your donations, Cambie!! Let’s spread warmth this season.

Thank you to all students who are participating in Cambie Reading Riot. We are off to a great start.
