Ni men hao! Hi Cambie Students, I bet you see red lanterns and greetings everywhere you go. Let’s learn some information about Lunar New Year. Lunar New Year is an extremely important day for Chinese Culture, as they eat a big feast with family. Chinese celebrates New Year for fifteen days. Some famous phrases you can say to celebrate Chinese New Year are Gōng xǐ fā cái, which means "Wishing you great prosperity" or you can say Xīn nián kuài lè, which means "Happy New Year!" Thanks for your attention and have a great year of the rabbit!
