Student Notices - Dec. 14, 2022

Hey Cambie! It is day 10 of The Twelve days of Winter Wellness.

Regularly choose off-screen activities over on-screen activities. For example, instead of playing guitar hero, learn how to play a real guitar.

That was your tip for the day.

You can also come down to the library to check out the tips on the front window.

For more information, please visit www.heretohelp.ca.

Attention Cambie students and staff! It’s that time of year again, our annual Winter Holiday Breakfast is TOMORROW! There will be an enormous supply of pancakes, fruits, and hot chocolate, so make sure to come by between 8:30 to 9:15am to grab yours FOR FREE, sponsored by Richmond Applewood Nissan! Additionally, Door decorating contests are happening tomorrow during Block C, so make sure your class participates for a chance to win a pizza party.

Thank you to those who dressed up today for Cozy Wednesday! Don’t forget to wear your favourite pair of PJs for PJ Thursday tomorrow! And as always, make sure to send your pictures to @cambie stuco on instagram to be featured!

Ecosavers will serve free hot chocolate in the rotunda during lunch to those who bring a reusable container today on “Cozy Wednesday” and again on “Frosty Friday”. We will also be turning down the temperature in our school to conserve energy as it reduces water and air pollution. Make sure to dress cozy tomorrow like a sweater or hoodie to Bundle Up!

Just a reminder Art Clubbers that we have an Art Club meeting at lunch today for secret Santa Riku, signing off!

Youth Taking Charge of the Cambie Community Centre is hosting a Winter Children's Drive until December 21st! You can donate New or Lightly used Clothing, Unwrapped Toys, or New Hygiene Products at their respective boxes underneath the Community Centre's Christmas tree near the entrance. All collections will go to Covenant House! Happy Holidays Cambie!

Good morning Cambie! We’re in our final few days to donate to the SOCK WARS campaign! With the crazy weather we’ve been having, can you imagine having wet feet all day or hands that never quite get warm at night? Our donations go directly to programs that help keep hands warm, and feet dry. Thank you for all your donations so far, let’s keep it up!
