Student Notices - Sept. 13, 2021

To all students interested in becoming a First Responder this year, there is a meeting in Ms Ardat's room (A209) at lunch time today.

Hey Grade 12s, this is the LAST CALL to apply for Grad Council. Come help make this a memorable year for your grad class by planning fun activities and events! Applications are available for Executive positions as well as General Council positions. Forms are available via QR code provided by your homeroom teacher. The deadline has been extended to the end of the day TODAY. If you have any questions, please contact Mme Masaki.

Post-secondary institutions will be hosting virtual information events again this year. Among important events coming up: The Canadian University Virtual Event from Sept 27-30. SFU, UBC, Emily Carr, University of Victoria, U Alberta, and Queens, among others will be in attendance. The University of Toronto will be hosting a virtual information session on Sept 13-14. Scholarship information is also beginning to come in. For scholarship details and to register for events see the Career Centre Website calendar and Follow Ms. Millar's Facebook page to receive important notifications. ALL grade 8 girls interested in trying out for the volleyball team this year there will be tryouts tomorrow TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 21st right afterschool at 3:00pm in Gym A and on THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 23rd at 3:00pm.  All grade 8 girls who want to play must be at tryouts.  If you have any questions please see Ms. Alblas.

The senior boy’s, grades 10-12, volleyball team will have their first tryout on Tuesday at 5:00 in Gym A.

Any boys in grades 8-12 interested in playing soccer this year, the first tryout will be tomorrow at 3:15pm on the turf field.
