Student Notices - Feb. 19, 2021

Brought to you by Peace Club!  Here is your Black History fact of the day!  Did you know that Phillis Wheatley was the first African American to publish a poetry book in 1773?

Hey Grads, your Grad Hoodies have arrived! If you did not receive your hoodie in class yesterday OR there is an error on your hoodie, please see Mme Masaki TODAY after your class.

Attention Grade 12 Students! UBC is still accepting applications for some programs! If you missed the January 15th application deadline, UBC has just sent out information regarding a few programs that are still accepting applications. These degrees may close their application at any time without notice, so students must submit applications as soon as possible! See Ms. Millar's Facebook page for details!

Hello everyone!  Peace Club is hosting a glove/sock/hygiene drive until Monday.  There are three bins out in the rotunda for you to donate a pair of socks, gloves or some sort of hygiene produce like toothbrushes or paste.  Any size items, mini or full size, are appreciated!  Items donated need to be new, not used.  All of the donations we collect will be going into care packages for the homeless or people struggling that need help within shelters.  One donation can make a huge difference in someone’s life, so please bring your donations to the clearly labelled bins in the rotunda.  Thank you, Cambie!

Thank you to all students who are participating in Cambie's Reading Riot. This week, our prize winner is another grade 9 student! Let's keep reading, Cambie!
