Attention Cambie volunteers:  Service Hour Forms are now available in the office.  In order to be recognized for service at our Awards night, you must submit this completed form to the office by April 18th.


Thank you to all students who are participating in Cambie's Reading Riot.  It is a huge success!  Remember, prize draws will be held every Friday until the end of April.  Let's keep reading, Cambie students!


All CCC helpers and Grade 8 Ambassadors, there is an important meeting on Monday in the Counselling Centre to sign up and plan for the Grade 7 Cambie tour happening on May 1st.


Hey Grade 8’s!  Are you tired of working so hard and in need of a break?  Well, lucky for you, the Rec. 12’s are bringing back the Grade 8 Carnival!  There will be popcorn, cotton candy, carnival games and of course, prizes.  The best thing about all of this is that it’s all FREE!  Come out to Gym A afterschool on April 25th.  Don’t miss out!


Are you interested in studying at the University of Toronto?  Representatives will be at the Vancouver Convention Centre on Saturday, April 13th for an information session for prospective students.  Registration is required.  See the Career Centre District website for details.  A reminder to check the Career Centre website often for post-secondary, scholarship and career information and updates!


Are you currently in grade 10, 11 or 12 and interested in exploring a career in the trades?  The deadline has been extended into May, so be sure to submit your Youth Train in Trades applications as soon as possible.  These post-secondary trade programs, offer dual credits for high school and university, and your program tuition is paid.  Applications are available on the School District 38 Career Programs website and in the counselling area!
