Wellness Wednesday announcements are intended to encourage everyone to take good care of their mental health and well being.
Even though our mental health is another aspect of our whole health, sometimes it’s easier to focus on the physical which is why it’s important to consciously work to take care of our mental health as well. Understanding that “Mental Health Matters” and impacts our whole lives can inspire us to take care of ourselves with consideration of our thoughts, body reactions, behaviours and emotions. “Everyone can benefit from learning how to enhance and protect their mental health – whether or not they’ve experience mental illness or a substance use problem.”
