Hey Cambie!  It’s Wellness Wednesday.  That means we are bringing you an announcement intended to start you thinking about your wellbeing and mental health.  Everyone has mental health, it is as important as physical health, but sometimes not as obvious.  Your mental health affects so much:  how you feel about yourself, how you relate to others, how you see the world, how you deal with problems, and so much more.  Mental Health matters!

This week we also have special visitors from our SD38 Adolescent Support team, Richmond Mental Health and Richmond Addictions joining us in the Rotunda on Thursday at lunch for “Beyond the Blues” to share information about anxiety, mood, addictions and mental health.

Make sure you stop by the booth to learn more about taking care of yourself and maintaining your mental health.  Resources are also available from your counsellors or online at www.heretohelp.ca .

Support our benevolent fund by buying Student Price Cards.  They are available for sale in the rotunda at lunch.  Stop by and get yours today.  Cards are $10 each.  Don’t miss this chance to save at all your favourite retailers.

A reminder to grade 11 and 12 students and their parents:  The Canadian University Event is TONIGHT from 6:30-8:30pm at McMath Secondary.  This is your opportunity to meet with approximately 50 University Representatives from across Canada!  Arrive early, and take a bag or backpack with you to carry materials.

Choir Club meeting in the music room today at lunch.  If you are interested and didn’t make it last time, come on down!
