  1. Attention all boys trying out for the Cambie Soccer Team:Try-outs will continue tomorrow, at 3PM, on the turf field.Please make every effort to attend.

     

  2. All grade 9 girls who want to play volleyball this year there are tryouts today and tomorrow at 3pm.  If you have any questions please see Ms. Alblas.

     

  3. Attention all online Marketing 11/12 students. Our meeting has been changed to Friday at lunch in room A204. (Ms. Basi’s room)

     

  4. Reminder to all grade 8’s to return their grade 8 retreat forms and fees by Thursday, September 14.

     

  5. If you are a Grade 10, 11 or 12 student  who is interested in learning about work in Emergency Services, you are invited to apply to join the Fall 2017 Richmond RCMP Youth Squad Program. This is an eight session program running on Thurs evenings from 6-9 PM at the RCMP Richmond Detachment. Topics include emergency response, police dog services, forensic identification, fire and ambulance and much more.  Cost per person is $80.00 and deadline to apply is Thurs, Sept 28 at 1:00pm.  Applications are available from the Career Centre or on the Richmond SD38 Career Programs website and completed applications can be returned to Ms. Millar.

     

  6. Langara will be hosting an important information session about their Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN Program. September 14, 2017 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Nursing Simulation Centre, T33.

     

  7. Are you interested in studying in the UK? There will be a UK Education event tonight Wednesday 13th September at St. George's School, Vancouver. This is a unique opportunity for students (and parents) who are considering studying in the UK to meet 6 of the Russell Group UK universities at one location.

  12. Hey Cambie! To make sure you are ready to succeed, the cambie counselling centre’s breakfast club has opened up again this year! Come down to grab some toast, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, juice and more! From 7:45 to 8:15 everyday. Everyone is welcome!

     

  13. Do you want to get a head start on getting your volunteer hours? Cambie Community Centre needs help for its Fall Family Fun event in October. Come to the centre and ask for Tatiana or sign up at icanhelp.richmond.ca
