  1. Message for all peer helpers: Reminder during your helping block, please go to the library. There is a meeting at lunchtime today in the library for all peer helpers.

     

  2. All grade 9 girls interested in playing volleyball this year there will be a meeting today at lunch in Ms Alblas' room C210 to sign-up.  Volleyball tryouts for the grade 9 girls will be Wednesday and Thursday this week afterschool at 3pm.  See Ms. Alblas if you have any questions. 

     

  3. Attention all boys soccer players:Cambie Athletics is checking the level of interest we have in running a Senior Boys soccer team.However, all boys in grades 8-12 are allowed to play.There is a sign-up sheet for interested students outside the PE office.More information to follow by the end of this week.

     

  4. This is a message for anyone interested in joining the swim team this year.There will be a meeting at recess today in Rm D217 to sign up.You do not have to be an 'A Class' swimmer to be part of our team ... all swimmers are welcome. See Mrs. Curtis or Mrs. Faryon if you have any questions.

     

  5. Attention Grade 11 and 12 students and parents! The Fall 2017 Canadian University Event is being held at McMath Secondary Tuesday Sept 26 from 6:30-8:30 pm.Over 50 Canadian Universities will be in attendance at the CUE event! Arrive early and take a bag or backpack to carry the materials that you have picked up. See the Career Centre District website for details, Ms. Millar's facebook page and Ms. Millar if you have any questions.

     

  6. Attention to all Grade 8’s, Grade 9’s, Grade 10’s, Grade 11’s, and Grade 12’s. I have a little big announcement to make. Do you see all of the orange bins outside of the classrooms? Those aren’t for garbage or organics. Those are for recyclables. It would be a great help if you actually think when you throw your things away.

     

  7. Do you want to get a head start on getting your volunteer hours? Cambie Community Centre needs help for its Fall Family Fun event in October. Come to the centre and ask for Tatiana or sign up at icanhelp.richmond.ca
