  1. A reminder to all students that Wednesday, June 28th is our report card and yearbook distribution.  All students should be here at 11:00am to pick up these items.  Also, H.J. Cambie Day will be from 11am-1pm on Wed. June 28th with a variety of fun activities!

     

  2. A reminder to all students that all Textbooks and Library Books are now overdue and need to be submitted immediately.  Students will be charged the replacement cost of any missing books, and you will not be able to get your yearbook until this is dealt with.  All books must be returned and outstanding fees dealt with by Thursday or you will not get your yearbook on time on Thursday and you will need to stand in long line-ups to deal with these outstanding items.

     

  3. This Thursday at the end of the day, all students will be cleaning out your lockers, removing all items, and taking your locks off.  All items need to be removed by the end of the day Thursday.  Students are encouraged to start to take home items that are in your lockers and to start to clean and organize your lockers this week so that you are not left with a large pile of items to take home on Thursday.

     

  4. A reminder to Gr. 12 students that Thursday is your last day of regular classes.  There are no regular Gr. 12 classes on Friday due to the English 12 Provincial Exam.

     

  5. Students writing the exam – please arrive by 8:30am on Friday morning.  All students will be writing the exams in the 2nd floor B wing.

     

  6. All Gr. 8-11 students – your last day of regular classes is Friday, June 23rd.

     

  7. A reminder to all students attending Dry Grad – please don’t forget to drop off your dry grad change of clothing at the Fridge on Tuesday, June 27th from 6:30-8:30pm.

     

  8. All grade 11 students who would like to apply to receive a 2nd study block, please pick up a form in the main office and return it by Fri, June 23rd.  Please see Mrs. Charlton if you have any questions. 

     

  9. All Rec Leadership 11 & 12 Students going to camp next year, please come to the office after school to pick up your parent consent and student acknowledgement of risk form and return to Mr. Meier by June 23rd.

     

  10. Grade 12 reminders: KPU is accepting applications for many programs for Fall 2017. The application deadline is August 21 - apply now!  Langara and Douglas College are still accepting applications for many programs - apply now!  Douglas College is offering a new Bachelor of Arts Degree in Applied Criminology. The General Studies Programs are a great place to launch your post-secondary experience, and a strong pathway to university!  See the Career Centre and post-secondary websites and Ms. Millar's face book page for details.
